Privacy policy
Last updated: September 23, 2026
Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what personal information we collect through the website at kanto.tech (the "Website"), how we use it, who it may be shared with, how long it is kept, and the rights you have under Israel's Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981, and its regulations, including Amendment No. 13 to the Law (together, the "Privacy Protection Law").
Using the Website, including submitting details through its contact forms, constitutes acceptance of this policy. If you do not agree with all or part of this policy, please do not use the Website or submit information through it.
This English version is provided for convenience. If there is any inconsistency between it and the Hebrew version, the Hebrew version prevails.
1. Who we are (the data controller)
The Website is operated by Kanto ("we", "the company" or "Kanto"), a business that provides automation, system integration and AI implementation services to businesses. For any privacy-related request, you can contact us at hello@kanto.tech. Kanto owns the database and is responsible for the information collected on the Website, within the meaning of the Privacy Protection Law.
2. What information we collect
We collect two kinds of information:
2.1. Information you give us
When you fill in a contact or mapping-call form on the Website, ask us to send you content (such as a skill or a guide), or contact us through channels linked from the Website (such as WhatsApp or email), you give us personal information, including: full name, business or clinic name, role, phone number, email address, and a free-text description of the business process you want to improve. When you opt in to receive marketing messages, we also keep a record of that consent (time, consent wording and IP address). You are not legally required to provide this information, but without it we cannot handle your request or schedule a call with you.
2.2. Information collected automatically
When you browse the Website, certain technical information is collected automatically, including: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, pages visited, time spent, how you arrived at the Website (for example, an ad campaign or a social network), and other usage data. This information is collected using the technologies described in section 4 and is used for operational, security, statistical and marketing purposes.
3. Why we use information, and the legal basis
We use information for the following purposes, on the legal basis stated for each:
- Sending content you asked for: when you ask for a skill, a guide or similar content, we send it to the email address you gave us. This is a delivery you requested, not marketing.
- Responding to you, contacting you and scheduling a mapping call: on the basis of your consent, and to take steps toward a possible engagement at your request.
- Managing customer relationships and following up on inquiries: on the basis of your consent and the company's legitimate interest in running its business.
- Improving the Website and services, and understanding usage patterns: on the basis of a legitimate interest in operating and improving the Website.
- Securing the Website and preventing misuse, fraud or malicious activity: on the basis of a legitimate interest in protecting the Website and its users.
- Complying with legal obligations: where required by law or by an order of a competent authority.
- Marketing: only if you have separately and explicitly opted in, we will send you advertising by email and by phone messages (SMS and WhatsApp), such as new skills and guides and offers for Kanto's services. This consent is not a condition for receiving content you asked for. Every marketing message will be marked as such and include a simple way to unsubscribe, and you can withdraw your consent at any time, as described in section 9.
We will not use information you gave us for a purpose materially different from the one it was given for, unless you consent or the law requires it.
4. Cookies and tracking technologies
The Website uses cookies and similar technologies. A cookie is a small text file stored in your browser that lets a site recognize your device and remember information about how you use it. We use the following kinds of cookies:
- Essential cookies: needed for the Website to work properly and securely, including a human-verification component (Cloudflare Turnstile) that blocks automated, malicious form submissions. These are necessary and cannot be turned off while using the Website.
- Performance and analytics cookies: help us understand how the Website is used and improve it. We use Google Analytics (GA4) for aggregate statistical analysis of traffic, and Microsoft Clarity for user-experience analysis, including heatmaps and session recordings. These tools may record how you interact with pages, including mouse movement, scrolling, clicks, and device and browser data. They operate on the basis of a legitimate interest in operating and improving the Website, and subject to consent where the law requires it.
- Marketing cookies: if we run paid campaigns (for example, on Meta's platforms), cookies may be loaded that measure advertising effectiveness and show personalized ads.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the Website from working.
5. Sharing information with third parties
We do not sell or trade your personal information. To operate the Website and provide our services, we use outside service providers that process information on our behalf and according to our instructions. Information may be shared with:
- Cloudflare, Inc.: website hosting, content delivery network (CDN), security and human-verification services.
- monday.com: the system we use to manage inquiries and customers (CRM), where inquiry details are stored for handling and follow-up.
- Resend: an email delivery service used to send us an internal alert about a new inquiry, and to send content you asked for (such as a skill or a guide) to your email address.
- Google (including font and analytics services): loading design assets (Google Fonts) and statistical analysis (Google Analytics).
- Microsoft (Clarity): a user-experience analysis service, including heatmaps and session recordings, used to understand and improve how the Website is used.
- Meta Platforms (WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram): when you choose to contact us on WhatsApp or reach us through advertising or a link on these networks.
Beyond that, we will share information with a third party only: (a) when required by law, a court order or an order of a competent authority; (b) to protect our rights, property or the safety of the Website's users; (c) in a structural change to the business (such as a merger or transfer of operations), provided the receiving party agrees to the terms of this policy.
6. Transfers outside Israel
Some of the service providers listed above store or process information on servers outside Israel, including in the European Union and the United States. Such transfers are made in accordance with the Privacy Protection (Transfer of Data to Databases Abroad) Regulations, while taking reasonable measures to ensure the information receives an adequate level of protection. By using the Website and submitting information, you consent to such transfer and processing.
7. Information security
We take reasonable and customary technical and organizational security measures to protect personal information from unauthorized access, use, alteration or disclosure, including encrypted communication on the Website (HTTPS/TLS), storage in secure systems of established providers, and limiting access to those who need it for their role. No system is completely immune, however, and we cannot guarantee absolutely that information will be protected from every risk. If a serious security incident affects personal information, we will act in accordance with our legal obligations.
8. How long we keep information
We keep personal information for as long as needed to fulfil the purposes it was collected for, or for the period required to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our rights. Information given in an inquiry that did not lead to an engagement will be kept for a reasonable period for follow-up and customer-relationship purposes, and then deleted or anonymized. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, as described in section 9.
9. Your rights
Subject to the Privacy Protection Law, you have the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Right of access: to receive confirmation from us of whether we hold information about you, and to review the personal information we hold.
- Right to correction: to ask us to correct information that is inaccurate, incomplete, unclear or out of date.
- Right to deletion: to ask us to delete information, subject to retention obligations that apply to us by law.
- Withdrawing consent: to withdraw consent you have given, including consent to receive marketing, at any time and free of charge, through the unsubscribe link in the message, by replying to a message with the word "STOP" ("הסר" in Hebrew), or by contacting us by email. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.
To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@kanto.tech. We will respond within a reasonable time and in accordance with our legal obligations. If you believe your rights have been infringed, you may contact the Privacy Protection Authority at Israel's Ministry of Justice.
10. Children's privacy
The Website and services are intended for business owners and adults only and are not directed at minors under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we discover that such information was collected without the consent of the person responsible for the minor, we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time, among other things to reflect changes in our services, technology or legal requirements. The updated version will be published on this page, with the date of the last update at the top. We recommend reviewing the policy from time to time. Continuing to use the Website after the policy is updated constitutes acceptance of the updated version.
12. Contact
For any question, request or inquiry about this policy or your personal information, contact us at hello@kanto.tech.
This policy is intended to provide general information and does not constitute legal advice.
